For the 12th edition of FOTODOKS, under the guiding theme Long Time No See—an expression that points to stories yet untold—we warmly invite you to the opening of this year’s group exhibition at Architekturgalerie München on October 9 at 7 pm.

Accompanied by a three-day festival weekend, Long Time No See not only examines the deconstruction of the past as a narrative instance within photographic practices but also opens perspectives on the multilayered dimensions of memory, community, and belonging. Ten international artistic positions will be presented, whose photographic works expand the terrain of contemporary documentary photography in diverse ways: Sander Coers, Arash Fayez, Calvin Hein, Thero Makepe, Edgar Martins, Yun Ping Li, Eva Rivas Bao, Sarah Sullivan, Anya Tsaruk, and Eva Vei.
