HÄUSER DES JAHRES 2021

Opening of Open Art 2021 with the exhibition of the best works from the competition "Häuser des Jahres 2021", which Callwey Verlag and the Deutsches Architekturmuseum have awarded annually since 2011. The exhibition will also present 20 product innovations that have been awarded Solution of the Year in the competition.

Book presentation with Elisabeth Merk, City Planning Councillor of the City of Munich, Bjorn Rosen, DOM Publishers, the editor Nicolette Baumeister and author Gerhard Gross.In well-founded texts, photos and impressive aerial views, the guide conveys the image of a city that, on the one hand, feels committed to tradition, but on the other hand, faces the challenges of constant growth with exemplary planning strategies and innovative buildings.

Sunday, 26.9. Christoph Hesse will be present from 14-18 and looks forward to talking to you.
In the exhibition Christoph Hesse Architects present their built statements for a participatory and sustainable future: System Changer and Perspective Changer. The projects break through globally prevailing structures on a local level, bring about a change in people's perspectives and stimulate the self-efficacy of each and every one of us.

PERLEN - Munich Open Spaces

In photographs by Michael Heinrich and Markus Lanz, the exhibition shows the favourite places of Munich landscape architects, architects and urban planners. From their own balconies and courtyards to public gardens, parks and squares to riverbanks, vantage points and sports facilities, the exhibition and accompanying book is a very special cicerone to these gems of Munich's urban open spaces.
